bad blogger

So I am such a bad blogger.  I know my blogging pimp has been so upset with me for not blogging.  I recently got a new position at work which I am really excited about. My new job consits of marketing and advertising although we hired an advertising agency, but I get to market whatever they advertise...lol.  Anyway that is why I haven't really blogged lately, I have been trying to do well with my new position then with the kids activities it's just been kind of hectic.

So where did I leave off oh yes the pennies for my oldest daughters school.  Well we collected so manhy pennies on top of the pennies in the miller lite piggy bank then my friend Angelica gave her $20 in pennies, it was awesome.  Needless to say we ended up putting all her pennies in a suitcase with wheels and the suitcase was full.  I never realized how heavy pennies could be.  Triniti was so excited to go to school the next day since it was the last day to collect the pennies. When we walked into the school it was like a scene from a movie, Triniti walked in wheeling her suitcase full of pennies it was like slow motion all the kids were looking at her even the teachers were whispering to each other "is that full of pennies" she flips her hand through her hair....it was so funny she was looking at all the little girls like "yea you know you want these pennies"....lol  She must have been queen of the playground that day.  When we got to the classroom all the kids crowded around her the teacher gave her all these praises.  They lost by $20 to another class but Triniti is famous so that was priceless.  

Well sorry for not blogging for so long hopefully my blog pimp will put me back on his payroll...lol

I am a blogger

So this is so cool. This whole blogging thing I always read Sal's blogs which most of Sal's stories I an usually there when they happen, then I would jump to Robert's blogs and those were always so funny my favorite was the one about the meaning of the word luck too funny. After Robert's blog I would go to Adriana's blog and laugh at that one too and so on and so on. And it's so cool I got comments of course only because Sal advertised me. Sal's like my blogging pimp. So I have to help my older daughter Triniti collect pennies for her school they are making some sort of donation to a school that was damaged by Hurricane Ike. Well I have this huge Miller Lite piggy bank full of pennies and I honestly thought of taking that to the school to donate but then I had this mental image of a 4 year old in a Catholic School uniform walking in to her classroom with a huge Miller Lite piggy bank. I mean it's not like it was full of beer before the pennies got in there. I made a conscious decision and put then in a Feldman's bag instead. :)

Just getting Started

So this is my first blog not really sure what I am doing but from reading other blogs it doesn't look like you have to know what your doing. My oldest daughter just started her first year of school so we sent her to a private school. At first I thought it was a good idea but then I wrote out the first tuition check and tried to remember why I thought she needed to go to private school we have great public schools that are free. Her first week of school she gets invited to 2 birthday parties for the same weekend and if I thought that was enough you had to RSVP to both parties...WHATS UP WITH THAT. When did 4 year olds birthday parties require reservations. I mean honestly do you really need to have the exact amount of candy bags. So her first party was at the Childrens Museum in Brownsville, she had never been there before so it was interesting to see her grab a stuffed baby pig and throw it in the pretend oven. At least I know she will probably never be a vegetarian. My younger daughter was gathering play corn and other vegetable and throwing them in the back of a toy pickup truck so I am glad she is aware of where our heritage began. Well I hope this was alright for a first time blogger.
